We stock our Hubs with fresh breakfast, bowls, bites and beverages Monday to Friday. Our products include a ‘Best Before Date’ which we call our ‘Donate By Date’ where once it reaches its this date, it is past our high-quality food standards for sale but is not yet past its expiration date, products will then be donated to a local charity.

What happens to unsold food?

Unsold food that has reached its ‘Donate by Date’ will be donated to local charities, to reduce food waste and provide healthy meals to community members in need.

Unlike most granolas that are very high in calories and packed with excess sugar and additives, our Classic House Granola is made from whole-food plant-based ingredients which are nutritious and filling. Best served with yoghurt and fruit, layered on smoothies, as a topping on oatmeal or better yet enjoyed straight from the bag. Our Classic House Granola is featured on our Sunrise Bircher Muesli and Balancing Breakfast Parfait.

PACKAGING

What should I do with my empty jars? Can I recycle or return them?

We have a strong focus on sustainability and ethical environment practices. Our jars are all 100% recyclable. They can be recycled at our Hub on your next visit and we will recycle them or you can toss them in a recycle bin. We also recommend keeping and reusing our jars. There are a lot of creative uses for our jars, from storing and organising dry goods, housing supplies or used for leftovers. Our labels are recyclable too.

How are Botanic Hub meals individually packed?

Each of our products are hand crafted and weighed by our chefs. They are scientifically layered in our HACPP approved, BPA free jars to maintain freshness and texture and sealed with a tamper proof seal for added protection.

Why don’t you use glass jars?

We have considered using glass as we are aiming to be as sustainable as possible and will continue to research and test packaging options to reduce waste and close the loop. Unfortunately glass makes the food less affordable and creates an unsafe environment for employees. If one glass jar breaks in our kitchen we would be in violation of our food safety practices.
